Wireless Intercom Options for a small residential complex

I live in a small complex with just 4 units and we are looking to replace our intercom system. The current system is plagued with ant infestation which has led to failure of 3 of the 4 Commax units so far.

Due to the layout of the complex and the terrain we are looking at wireless intercoms.

Anyone have experience with such and can recommend any that they have used?

Assuming you need individual comms to the gate only with audio(no video) and the ability to activate the gate.
Friend lived in a small complex and they had a basic system that has not given any issues .

Have you considered the cellphone based intercom unit, everywhere I have visited is using them now

Edit: the advantage of this is you can be buzzed when you are not at home

Yes its individual comm to the gate only with audio and maybe to open the gate remotely.

I am looking into this option as well. Waiting on a quote from a local alarm company that also does intercoms and gate motors.
