Wireless Internet - Linmeyer - JHB South

Hello Friends,

I'm in Linmeyer - South of Johannesburg - and am about to kick Telkom ADSL out.
4Mbps ADSL is just too slow for current demands.
No MSAN or FTTH in the area, and none planned :-(

Can anyone recommend a WISP that has coverage in the area.

100% RapidNet (http://rapidnet.co.za/coverage-map/) - I've been using them for two months now, absolutely amazing service. No downtime, constant 10Mbps upload and download without drops in download speeds (unless there's a problem on the other side). Works during the rains and storms, it's great.

Wow I see that Oakdene and parts of Linmeyer are only showing interest. That's scary for such an old established area.

The Linmeyer ratepayers will be running a campaign over the next quarter to drum up support.
Oakdene is currentlty being cabled by Vumatel.
Vumatel has mostly completed the Bassonia, Glenvista, etc.
