So i decided to chuck my trusty Redragon Kumara for a wireless (2.4Ghz wifi) keyboard in an attempt to free my desk from wires. I also switched to a Glorious Model D wireless mouse for the same reason.

KB model I decided on is the CoolerMaster CK721 that comes with a 2.4Ghz wifi dongle but also supports bluetooth and wired. Lovely keyboard but for the life of me I just could not get the KB to connect to the dongle. I liaised with CoolerMaster tech support, re-flashed firmware etc with no use and eventually they said it must be a DOA dongle and I sent it back to the supplier (Rectron via the retailer Dreamware).

Rectron phoned me today to let me know they replaced it after their techie inspected and concluded that it is DOA. I picked the new one up earlier today and wouldn't you just know it ......... the new one does the exact same thing. KB just does not connect to the dongle, even after using the "force pair" keystrokes.

Am I doing something stupid here or is the specific model (CK721) just a bad design/or bad batch? Dreamware mentioned that they sold a few of these and had no returns other tan mine.

Thoughts/wisdoms?

Solved.
Connected it via bluetooth and then when switching back to wifi it miraculously connected.
Go figure.
