Hello folks

I am interested in getting a All-In-One printer which has wireless capability.

We are very limited for space at home so i dont want something with too many wires, that i can possibly just put in a corner and print wirelessly too it.

I am a huge HP fan and would prefer it to be a laser mono and not an ink version

My wife and I both have wireless capable notebooks and would need to print to the printer in that manner

Hopefully, i would also be able to use our Ipad to print too

Any suggestions, comments, crits

Thanks

The HP Officejet 8500A I have connects to my wireless adsl router wirelessly, so any wired pc on the network or wireless laptop that is connecting to the router can print/scan/fax. All the laptops/PCs connect to the router and from the router wirelessly to the printer. I don't have any cables plugged into the printer except the power cable.

Mine has ethernet as well but if I plug in an ethernet cable into the printer and into the router then the wireless is disabled. But it achieves the same result as laptops will still be connecting to the router wirelessly and and then router to printer wired and still be able to print/scan/fax.

So what I'm saying is if you have a wireless adsl router then it doesn't really matter if the printer has only ethernet and no wireless.

If you don't have a wireless router/AP then you would need the printer to be wireless and set it to create an Access Point.

I don't use the usb connectivity at all.

When you look for a printer, compare the cost of the toner/cartridges and how many pages they print. I wanted a laser mono, but ended up with a inkjet as it prints 2200pages/R295 cartridge.
