Wireless Logitech mouse is malfunctioning, any hope?

I bought my Logictech Laser wireless mouse at Incredible Connection about 3 years ago. It's been working perfectly up until a few weeks ago when it started acting up. It basically left double clicks whenever I left click once. Should I take it somewhere to have it fixed? If so, where? Or should I just donate it to a rubbish bin?

I also have a logitech wireless mouse that did the same thing. I tracked it down to the micro switch being stuffed. I replaced the switch and all is well again.

I had same problem but luckily my mouse was in warranty so got new one.
