Wow... Telkom's sites are very uninformative. And I'm not holding for the "your call will be answered in 33 minutes" crap.

Anyone know if they have a router that meets the criteria as specified above? My company is willing to upgrade my current Mega 105WR and I want to get the best I can.

If you're looking for an all in one ADSL modem (that includes gigabit LAN + Wireless N), then be prepared to pay like R1300+.
You won't find ADSL modems like that from Telkom.

From what I've seen so far, your choices would either be a Linksys/Cisco or Netgear unit. eg. Linksys WAG320N

My suggestion would be to keep the Mega 105WR as an ADSL modem and then to get just a Wireless N router and a Gigabit switch, or a Wireless N + Gigabit router. Those routers are much much cheaper than the ones that includes the ADSL modem.
eg. TP-Link WR1043ND

oh, and there are lots of these kind of posts in the ADSL discussion section ...

ADSL modems pack up a lot in my experience anyway.

The all in one router combo is a very bad idea. For much lower cost you can get IMHO the best ADSL modem out there, DLink DSL-2500U, which is super cheap, incredibly reliable and handles even the worst kind of ADSL lines like no other ADSL modem I've seen. Run that modem in bridge mode and get an actual great wireless router, connect the ADSL LAN port to the router WAN port and bob's your uncle.

Also I've had a few ADSL modems, in the end all of them broke because our ADSL line was so bad that during rain it would cause problems on the phone line which seems to have killed ADSL modems. With my new combo I can just replace the super cheap ADSL modem when need be (R250 including delivery).

I don't have wireless N or Gigabit but I never need to restart my ADSL or router (WRT54GL loaded with DD-WRT) and NEVER have any trouble. Happy as a clam ;)

I always though my wireless router's range was bad. Then I got the freebie no obligation trail Billion one with Telkom this year. Range is pathetic.

PS. what company are you working for that they sponsor your home wireless?

It's one of the banks. I work on remotely on the server often so they're sponsoring the ADSL line rental as well as the router. I got a Mede8er a while back and want to use the wireless N or Gigabit connection to increase my streaming. The 105WR is a bottleneck in the current setup. It's perfect for ADSL though, absolutely no hiccups. Copying / streaming is the issue!

PS: It might have helped in the original post that they get all their routers from Telkom...
