I was wondering if there was a wireless N ADSL router out there that does NOT use draft N v2.0?

Or are those the only wireless N routers available?

All the wireless N ADSL routers I've looked at are all using draft N v2.0. Does it matter even?

Since Wireless N was finalised October 2009, I thought there would be an ADSL router that uses the final version of Wireless N out there? If there is please let me know.

I was looking at the Linksys/Cisco range of ADSL routers.

all i know is makro charge double dealer price on the cisco wireless N adsl, R1800???

Thanks for the info. The TP-Link W8960N 300Mbps Wireless N ADSL2+ Router looks like a good option. Wanted to do away with network cables completely.

It's still draft 2.0. Doesn't look like there is a ADSL router that uses the final version of 802.11n out there yet.

that is the one I am looking at Valerion.

where did you get yours from?

I only see it at IC and no way in hell I am gonna buy it from there unless NO and ABSOLUTELY NO other choice.

Off-The-Chart, just take note that its a broadband router and NOT an ADSL router!!

so I can use our current DG834 and plug it into that one, and use that one for connecting the PC's yes?

oh wait, THIS was the one was looking at.

just remembered the N300 somewhere.

...
Yes, you can just switch your DG834 to bridge mode and connect it to a broadband router's WAN port. You can then set the broadband router to dial the PPPoE connections via the DG834 :)

Nice find on that Netgear router! It goes for anything from R900-R1100 (see http://www.shopmania.co.za/shopping~online-routers~buy-netgear-dgnb2100~p-1035357.html & http://www.jump.co.za/compare/netgear-wireless-n-router-with-built-in-dsl-modem-20552.htm)
AND then of course, you can get it for R2000 from Incredible Connection <<< LOL!

well tbh, if I can wiggle my way around paying the R2000, then I won't mind as I wouldn't have to create yet another online account at yet ANOTHER online pc store.

have enough of those lying around :D
