Wireless Network Card

I need to buy a wireless network card for my computer and I don't have a clue what is good or not, so any advice on what features I would need and which brands are good.
I'm looking at spending about R 300.:confused:
 
I see that most people nowadays recommend you get a USB dongle instead of a PCI card, I have not read up on this but it would suggest that you get better performance with a USB dongle, apart from being supper handy to switch between other PC's.

Unless there is a specific reason why you would need a certain make and model (like in Linux), I will just go out and buy what I can afford (g+ or n+).

What protocols (g, g+, n+) does your wireless router support?
 
i would go with a netgear PCI wireless card, as i have had plenty usb adapters come back...
