I have XP on my desktop and Vista Home on laptop. I have a Mega 100WR router and I have set up the wireless network on it. When I try to connect to a Network on the laptop, I only see “Unnamed Network – Unsecured Network”. If I then select to connect to this, I get the "Unsecured network…connect anyway?" screen. I select to then connect to a different network instead and it takes me back to the Connect to Network screen and shows the Network name as set up on the router – as well as the Unnamed, unsecured network. I am then connected to the network I originally set up on both router and laptop...

Why don't I see this network on the original connect screen? How should I fix this?

Try the following: connect to the router's web interface (should be 10.0.0.2) and set the name of the wireless access point to whatever you want it, then set some sort of encryption or password key. WEP is okay but WPA2 is preferred.
Once you have done that, save the settings and then restart your router.
Try connecting then and save the password on your computer for automatic connection to the router.
It should work then.
