I have a network situation that I cannot seem to figure out.
I have a client(s) with a big office and people need to be able to move around and use the wireless anywhere in the office. For this reason we have a few Wireless Access Point all over the office, connected via LAN as well.
What we would like to have is that each wireless client connects to the strongest AP in range and the APs data needs to be transfers as much as possible via the cable connection. Also the APs have user limits so it only allows up to 10 people per AP.
Currently all APs are on the same channel, SSID, Security and setup in Access Point mode
But the clients dont seem connect to the strongest AP, what is the best way to set this up, I would ideally like one SSID for everything.
If I set them to use repeater mode will the LAN connection still work?
Thanks,
George
