Wireless POE to Netgear?

Hallo!
I am on a wireless broadband service, and would like to provide my family with e-mail and browsing capabilities.
However, I find that my Netgear Wireless Router, WGR614 v9 - which worked admirably with ADSL when I bought it - simply does not recognise my UBI-POE-24-5.
Anyone have gen on it?

I'm not sure what the 'UBI-POE-24-5' is, but I guess that it's a PoE injector from Ubnt.

Not all network devices supports PoE, and that Netgear WiFi AP doesn't either.
