Hey everyone . I bought a Huawei WS 320 wireless repeater from rebeltech last October. It worked fine for about a month. Now for some reason , when I sit in the same room as the repeater, I can't access the Internet, yet the wi fi signal is at maximum. The router and repeater are at almost 2 ends of the flat , and I'm using a belkin n150 router. Any ideas ?

Is the repeater properly connected to the router? Remember they need to be in each other's coverage areas.

Had the same issue. I had to disable all security on the router for the internet to work on the repeater. Not sure why.
Now I just limit access to all my devices based on their MAC address. Best I could do based on my limited knowledge on the topic. Tried for weeks to solve the issue without luck.

similar issue with a belkin booster.
it works fine for a while then it just disconnect from the internet.
Then I disable security on the wifi. It works again, and the issues continues (signal is there, but no internet).

At the end I just set it as an ACCESS POINT plugging the booster to a regular ethernet cable (which means I had to run a ethernet cable from the primary router to the booster). Since then, no headaches.

Your repeater neeeds to be no further than 50% of the maximum distance away from the base station

the booster (huawei) looks like an adapter and hence I can't connect any cables to it

Try to place the repeater in between you and the base station to improve connectivity. The strong signal is because you are in the same room as the repeater. The problem appears to be the link to the base station.
