I have a netgear DGN2000 wireless router, I want to put much higher gain/dB antenna on it. Does anyone know where I can get a set of two for around R600 that will work on this model? hopefully 6-10 dB.

Are you wanting to extend the range? Wireless access points/repeaters tend to be better, and a Wireless N one is less than R500.

These are within your budget and are available from most online shops.

Highest desktop gain is about 7 dbi from d link which is about R+-250 which will fit a SMA connector

You only need to boost 1 of the antennas. Left one is b/g. Right one I'm guessing is used for N...could be for 2nd network though.

6db gain you can pull off with some aluminum foil to form a parabolic mirror. Extends range in one direction...reduces it in all others.
