Hey guys,

I needs some help and advice from you guys. Some of my wife's friends moved to the UK and USA recently, and now she is bugging me to get a Skype phone for her to chat with them. I found the following 2 phone:
Netgear SPH200D and the SMC WSKP100.
I like that you can use the Netgear for the normal landline calls too, and that later on I can add a Netgear SPH150D in another room. Does anybody have any experience with these phones, or are there anything that should steer me away from the Netgear or SMC phone?

Thanx in advance.

If you dont mind having to have your PC running have a look at the uConnect. http://voipvoice.com/uconnect.html

Cost is around r300 and it lets you use your existing phone with skype (as well as traditional calls).

I have the Netgear which is a bit pricey but it works like a charm. Sound is crystal clear. Unfortunately I haven't tried the SMC. Maybe have a look on epinions.com for some reviews.

@bwana - I dont really want to have to switch on a pc, or must I say that my wife doesn't want to switch on a pc.
@MMM - Thanx, will have a look at epinions.com

@Juggy - Will have a look at home, skype.com is blocked at work.

And where you the best aka cheapest place be to buy a wireless Skype phone?
