Wireless Telephone Telkom SIM/WCDMA and ADSL setup

My Telkom Landline stopped working due to cable theft. A technician was sent out to install a wireless terminal to replace my landline, I asked him if I would be able to use my adsl with the device and he said, that I could. I only had the telkom line for the ADSL circuit anyway.

Can I use my adsl data account from another service provider with the Telkom wireless telephone, I was provided with. I was very unsuccessful thus far.

Data? Simple reply is that it is based on 3G prices and not on ADSL pricing.
