I have a question :
Two Access Points or an Access Point to Wireless Router ...
Will they talk to each other ?

I mean if I have a network connected to one Access point and a Router connected another network ... can I get the Access Point to talk to the Access Point and vice Versa ?

Network card >>>> Access point >>>>> Network Card
>>>>> Router
<<<<< Router

One Access point can talk to another Access point unless it is linked to a com port. There would be no reason to have one AP talk to another AP unless you wanted to have a lan bigger that 250 people which would mean you would need more wireless networking EQ for the subnets.

Reason for question ... Two offices ( seperate buildings ), one on either side of a pathway (+/-7m apart ), and try to avoid the wired option .
Wired Network 2 <-> Access Point 1 ???? Access Point2 <-> Wired Network 2

Found what I was looking for :)
Thanx guys you have helped in the right direction, seems a lot of AP's ( good ones anyway ) have this feature, its called Point-to-Point.

PtP Bridge
PtP (Point to Point Bridge) allows the DWL-2100AP to connect to another wireless Access Point capable of bridging. However, be aware that most manufacturers use proprietary settings when enabling bridging mode in the Access Point. A typical scenario for this selection is establishing a connection between two buildings through a wireless connection.

These 3 Access Points are Point-to-Point capable
