Wireless transfer speeds

Just wondering what you guys get in REAL WORLD conditions?

I'm supposed to be using wireless N - and I'm tranfer a 6GB file at 3.6MB/sec (so just under 30 minutes for my movie VOB)

Some sites say that's terrible for N, others say it's average and to be expected after headroom, interference etc.

What do you guys get on G and N?

Thats sounds like 802.11g transfer rates. Sure N is selected?

I get those speeds with g. Should be getting my N access point tomorrow or thurs, so I really hope I get more than that
