I'm trying to use a wireless usb adapter (with a Ralink chipset) to connect to my Telkom wireless router but just can't get a connection. The Ralink Wireless Utility software picks up my wireless network as well as the authentication type, WPA-PSK and TKIP encryption type. I've entered the network key but just can't get a successful connection. Strangely enough , my laptop that has a built in wireless adapter connects without issues
What else can I try? Any Windows XP logs I could check?

You can always re-install the driver and select windows zero configuration utility. But I prefer the ralink utility. What I found is to do a site survey and connect. Then add to profile. If I do not add to profile I get problems. Hope this helps.
