Wireless users groups... or village wide LAN/WAN

I just smacked my head on the generator canopy so forgive me if I make little sense. I will correct this in the morning... Technically you only need a license if you plan on distributing internet via wifi over public roads. So Lan networks is perfectly fine and I think you get an exempt license but not 100% sure you can give @Ellipsis.co.za a shout they could answer the licensing aspect. However, if you do plan on an internet network you're gonna have to reach out to whoever is the local wisp to help you achieve this, without jumping through too many hoops. If this village is anywhere near Pretoria East I'd be happy to help where I can. Kinda plan on doing something like this anyways for security guys needing to get their camera's online that doesn't break the bank.

I am planning on seeing Cape Town for the first time in my life next month if Eskom can stop playing footsie footsie with the power switch. I can do remote help. Send me an idea of what your current camera system looks like on paper or pm me and I can send you my number and we can look at it. Ts-s Operates in CT so I can reach out to them and see if they know of a WISP in your AO
