first off sorry if this is in wrong section -

My brother wants to get high speed internet in his flat. unfortunately the landlord will not let him put in an ADSL line. It is ridiculous i know but he won't let him put in the line its an old man whos is completely neurotic.

In any case, he is know forced to get a wireless connection. These are his needs - he plays online games (battlenet and cod4) and he wants to try and find a wireless connection with the least issues e.t.c. He is quite high up so reception should not be an issue I hope. He also uses facebook e.t.c. but the main thing he is concerned with is being able to play his games without consistent lag and disconnection

Please would someone reccomend the best wireless isp for online gaming, even though i know this might be impossible.

Thanks for the help,
stfury

Not sure on wireless, but if teh landlord doesnt know any difference, just tell him he wants to put in a phone line....

There shoudl be no legitimate grounds why you cannot install a phone line in a rental agreement. You will be paying for it in any case. The installation is generally very neat.

Its a long shot perhaps but maybe he could get Telkom's WiMax?
