WirelessG ADSL connection problems

Hi

I had an account with WirelessG mainly for use with WIFI.

When my telkom c(r)ap ran out, I decided I'll use wirelessG adsl...at 39/gig it sounded good.

However I found it impossible to connect to their server. I entered the username & passwrd as they have it, but the router says "auth_fail"

I tried a manual PPPOE connection but no joy. Even their connection manager failed.

Guess what...when I called support....they failed to!! They say they cannot understand the problem.

Anyone else have this issue?

Remember you need to enter their generic u/name and p/word into the router.
Thereafter you will get onto a landing page where you will; enter your specific details.

I battled a few times - then set up my modem in bridge mode - then created a ppoe connection in windows - it worked fine.

what modem are u using?

I have a billion router.
I have entered the "generic" details but the router does not connect to WG servers ...it says "auth fail".

I have tried the pppoe thing, but did not use "bridge" mode....no joy.
I dont really want to mess up with my routers defaults too much.
