Wiring help

Anyone know how to wire up one of these gadgets?

It was left here when Telkom installed the line, I gather its to use the Telkom phone and the adsl at the same time (correct?) so I would need to take the cable from the wall plug and then connect it to the green thingy on the right of the pic, with the adsl and phone line jacks in the 2 SK slots.
If this assumption is correct anyone know the wiring sequence?

It looks like an ordinary splitter, it just splits the single line into two extensions. Not sure how the wiring works, and which colour wire goes where, but I could open mine up and have a look...

Your thinking is correct, just remember to add a POTS filter to the phone line, but not the ADSL extension.

Thx, but no matter, I left the pots filter thingy behind in my old residence so I will just call the 'Beast' to come and sort it out.
