If Telkom wants to reduce the demand for the Sentech Wireless product, all it needs to do is to follow the US example.

I've seen products there for domestic services where for a fixed monthly fee of US$30 all local calls are included.

Just think, instead of paying around R80 per month plus call charges, you could have unlimited dial-up access at R200 per month. That is if Telkom has the guts and effeciency to follow the US way of doing.

I doubt if they will do it :-)

South Africa needs World Class Broadband at World Competitive Prices.

My line rental is $9 actually. That includes unlimited local calling. I don't get why companies charge for local calling though. It costs them nothing. I'd get cranky if I call my girlfriend and have to pay.
