You can't buy those licenses.Depending on what you mean by small.
Its technically illegal to run a wisp without an ECS and ECNS license from icasa but if you only connecting about 20 clients, you won't be caught or shouldn't be worried. The licensing will cost R22000
I suggest starting a wisp with ubiquiti gear. Great and easy setup.
Im starting my own small WISP
MikroTik RB 951UI-2HND router Giving out pppoe authentication to clients
And a Dlink router for our house.
Still need to buy a ubiquiti sector antenna but im recieving my internet with a ubiquiti powerbeam 5ac iso gen 2 antenna.

You need to apply for it.. And the whole thing costs R22000 i believe. My licensing knowledge isnt all that bigYou can't buy those licenses.
"having a registered company" hmmm... So what if you are an individual that want to share your internet with you neighbour.. Do you need a company for it?
Good to know you only need 1 license

Gonna take another 2 or so weeksPlease hala when u up and running so I can bench mark

My main plan is to get everything working and run it for about 2 months... If my calculations are correct after 3 months I'll have enough funds to obtain a license and start a company so that its a legal operation.
Currently running at a stable 200mbps.
And note that not everyone will use 100% of their bandwidth at 1 time, so i can split about 400Mbps into 10,20,30 and 50mbps packages.
10: R750
20: 850
30: 950
50: 1150
(R100 per 10mbps extra)
All packages are uncapped, unshaped, unthrottled and all are symmetrical packages e.g 30mbps down and 30mbps up
Ill be distributing the internet with a ubiquiti litebeam 5ac 16 120 sector antenna and nanostation loco ac as CPE.
My main goal is to make no profit, just dedicate all the income to obtaining a license. Quite worried about running the wisp without one
True man..That’s the risks we have to take in order to gain financial independence.
How you going to split the speed ?

Nice setup try piggybacking on your ISPs license I read somewhere that it’s possible to do that.
