Hi

I am testing the water to find interested parties looking to expand their wireless business.

We are a dominant licensed provider in the countryside of north natal and we have some of the best high sites covering a vast area; however the terrain is very mountainous which has its pros and cons.

I started this business from scratch 4 years ago working from home, the business grew beyond my expectations and I soon opened a shop in a prime spot in town. My wireless client base is currently around 150 and growing by average 10 clients per month. My current billing run on monthly subscriptions is around R60k this does not include any installations, callouts or repairs we do. We have no debt and keep our expenses to a minimum.

I have around 10 years networking experience and I am Mikrotik qualified but I simply cannot handle all the technical stuff, difficult clients and marketing by myself anymore. The potential growth for this area is massive but i am currently limited in time and skill to grow this network further.

I am looking at either selling 50% of the business to a business partner who can bring help and skills to the table and grow the business or sell the business as a whole.

If this interests you please contact me to discuss the matter further at admin@pc-shop.co.za

The value of a WISP is not in it's customer base, as they can leave with short notice periods, but rather in the hi-sites. Do you have long term contracts signed with the landlords for your hi-sites ? Are you able to sub let space on your hi-sites to others ? Do you have good power at the hi-sites ?
