WISP in Moreleta Park Pretoria

Hi All

I was looking for a wireless Internet provider in Moreleta Park, Is any one near Wekker street Pick n Pay using a WISP, we are just behind the Pick N Pay.

I want to go Bitco but I don't think they are have coverage in this park of Moreleta.

OK , so I got a message from Bitco saying that a tower is going up in the area and will hopefully be live in a months time.
After chatting to people that are on Bitco and the service and quality they have recived, I look forward to dealing with them

Hey, sorry to bump this. Have you heard anything from Bitco yet? I'm looking at their solution for my house (not in Moreleta Park but close) and currently they do not have coverage. I spoke with a rep and he said they are upgrading infrastructure, but couldn't give more details.

Don't know if the Bitco rep can shed light on this?

I used to live in Moreleta. Due to the hills there's quite some difficulty in obtaining signal for a variety of things. Perhaps make sure where the tower is going up is roughly in line of sight to you property.

We do have some coverage of Moreleta which you can check by putting in your address on http://bitco.co.za/coverage/

We do update our coverage map as we add new towers.

Bitco Still has no coverage my side of Moreleta, filled in the WAPA coverage got a call from Bank Serve but all other wireless providers in my area are very expensive compared to Bitco. And to make things worse had Telkom at my place to day to try and install a line and they are unable due to the fact the the telephone pole that should be there is not there. So I am stuck with my 1GB vodacom 3g connection or the internet cafe.

Yeah same here. I'm the wrong side of Moreletapark - I'm in the Woodhill/The Wilds/Mooikloof area.

Filled in the WAPA form but the only provider who responded and have service is wipronet and they are more expensive than some LTE packages out there!

We can get ADSL, but was hoping for something better. Waiting for feedback from BitCo for our Address. Any other Wireless Providers in the Moreletapark Area.
