WISP suggestions for Vredehoek, Cape Town

My uncle lives at the top of Vredehoek, Cape Town (near 3 towers) and is considering getting internet access from a wireless internet provider.

He is a novice PC / internet user and only uses a few MB per month for email and limited browsing. Currently uses GPRS (Edge) from Virgin mobile via old (non 3G cell phone).
He is often away from home for long periods and does not want to go ADSL.
Ideally looking for a prepaid data deal with roll-over.

I don't know the WISPs in that area (or if what he wants is available at all...)
Any suggestions?

While I might not have a suggestion for you off the cuff, I'd like to point out that when novice PC/ internet users actually have decent internet at their disposal their MB per month usage shoots up quite dramatically (most expert users would have better control over their MB "spent"). So when shopping around keep that in mind. Currently he's limited to GPRS/expensive bandwidth options. But once he has relatively cheap and fast internet the usage will increase, so it might be helpful to look for an option that's got more than just a few MB like one of the iBurst packages has.

True, but I doubt that his usage will ever be more than 1GB per month with zero usage some months due to him being away travelling.
Has Cell-C rolled out their Whoosh in CT city bowl yet?
