I've just discovered this app now. It is amazing. It seamlessly identifies English and Afrikaans without issues. It's just an absolute game changer. I have it on my Android and probably going to install it on my Mac first thing in the morning as well.

And yes, I typed this message using Wispr Flow.

Has anyone else been using it?

I've been using this for about 2 months and can't imagine being without it. Have it on on my Mac, iPhone and work Dell laptop. Especially useful for prompting or even just crunching emails in a hurry.

Gboard already has dictation?
I type this using gboard it's pretty good it might work from time to time and even tag at smiggles as we carry on I'm not quite so sure

And I type this using Wispr Flow. You tell me which one you think is better and more usable. Also, Wispr Flow is multi-platform; Gboard is obviously just on your Android.

Interesting take. Any reason why you'd say this?

I just want/need the time to articulate properly and therefore prefer to write myself.

I’ve got a well over average typing speed as well so that helps.

But in general I just told like talking at my phone/device. I despise voice notes as a concept for instance.

Gboard is on iOS.

But not on MacOS of course, at least not that I know of as that wouldn’t make any sense.

Voice notes are a great example where this app really comes to the fore. You can still dictate, but the receiver receives a text message, well-formatted with good punctuation, which is easier to receive than a voice note.

Yeah as someone who ignored voice notes by default because they don’t fit anywhere into my life this would certainly help some people out.

I tried superwhisper on my Mac, which works really well for English, but the Afrikaans is a disaster. Maybe I just had the wrong language pack; couldn't get it working, but I've now also installed Wispr Flow on the Mac, and Afrikaans is fantastic. This is a game changer.

EDIT: I see there is a referral program. If anybody ends up subscribing, I'd appreciate if you would consider using my code
