Witchfest 2016

Ditto - Just shy of 4k.

Mine was about there - but used some of the refund credit to get tickets for Rotting Christ.

WitchDoctor are doing a sterling job of tarnishing their image with all this crap.

Well it is certainly not doing anything to help the old - "People only buy tickets at the last minute" argument. **** like this ensures that this is and will be the norm for a long time to come. Either way it is not a sustainable way to run a business. I am just goddamn annoyed, that money can be put to good use. I am surprised that nobody else is kicking up a fuss on FB about this.

I wouldn't be surprised if they don't go about deleting posts of those people complaining.

So got a response from WDP - they claim that all ticket money went into a 32 call account - and they are waiting to get there hands on that money - apparently they requested a withdrawal of the funds on the 21st of Jan...

Seems odd that money that they needed to run the festival was paid into a 32 day call account...

well on the upside, I see the money will in future be going through an actual ticketing service that will only release funds after the show has occurred. Look, I have no doubt that the money will materialise eventually…….its literally the eventually part that was bugging me.

Heres the latest incase you havent seen it yet:

Witchfest Refunds - just an update for everyone. Festival was cancelled on the 26/01/2016. At that point we requested the money for tickets from the 32 day call acc. So all refunds will be processed within the next two weeks as we will be paid out. We have done a few for people where possible ahead of time.
If you did email info and got no reply, I apologize as it was more than likely a ticket assigned to me and I have been overwhelmed with mails this month.
Rest assured all is good and it will all be dealt with shortly.
Please feel free to message me direct on Facebook as I may have messed up and closed your ticket etc
We do have a record of all of you so your refund won't be lost, regardless of whether you got an email reply or not.

:/

This is really making never want to buy WDP tickets ahead of time again.

Still no refund.

WDP can think again if they think I'm going to buy tickets in advance again.

Have they been in contact with you yet as to why no refund has been processed as yet when it was supposedly all going to be handled by the 1st / 2nd of this month?
