Witfield, Boksburg adsl line issue

Lately i have noticed our adsl just drops completely, i reboot or remove cable and re-insert and it synchronises again.

i have logged the call with telkom, but i actually need to spea to someone.

i have got cctv and ip cameras all over the house, and like the adsl to be working all the time.

I have a D-link router and the "I" for the internet light just goes off...but the synchronising light stays solid?????????

i think its a cable issue at the exchange...

What are your line stats like? Is there noise on your telephone line? What speed are you syncing at?
 
Well when its connected, it works fine, no noise on the line.....the adsl just randomly drops...nothing wrong with the phone line. Its been working better since i logged the call and telkom actually phoned, and i explained to them what happens. But it still does it, but alot less - it was dropping at least once a day...and sometimes during the night.
