WLAN warning system in your car?

DaimlerChrysler has tested the Euro-project 'WILLWARN' (Wireless Local Danger Warning), which gathers info on bad driving conditions (traffic jams, fog, black ice, meteor showers, etc.), and relays warnings PEER-TO-PEER to other cars so the drivers of those cars can slow down or find another route. The system gathers information by monitoring brakes, electronic stability controls and a thermometer. DaimlerChrysler wants to share its technology with all car manufaturers.
