wm5.0 dialer

I am having a great deal of hassles with the standard dialer on my pda with wm5.0. My old imate phone had a standard t9 dialer. Are there any freeware programs that can mimic that easy dialing . It's a nightmare to scroll down 600 contacts or to use the stylus esp. when driving. tried searching google but couldn't find any freeware
