Woman held for lying about rape

I don't condone what she did but he is only 18. Don't you think your response is a little but harsh? How about reacting to actual rape victims with such zest?

Why is everyone always sympathetic when it comes to women? I do NOT think my response is a bit harsh. This is the kind of thing that ruins a man's life/family life/etc. Even a rumour that a guy raped a girl (or a claim found to be untrue) will stick with the guy forver. EAnd I WILL react to rapists with the same zest, they also deserved to be stoned.
 
Well, in this case the man was actually cleared of charges and charges are being pressed against the woman. Justice was served.

Yeah, so? Zuma was also cleared of rape charges, and see how that went for him. Almost everyone believes he raped that woman (who has in fact falsely cried rape before!)

Forget about the stigma attached to a man for a rape charge (even if he is cleared of it), rape is a real issue for some women. It's not something to be used as a weapon to get your own way.
 
Women who lie about being raped, especially by ones own Father, don't deserve any mercy at all, and should be locked away for a long long time.
 
Yeah the sentencing for crying wolf in such an situation should be as severe as the actual crime itself.
 
Forget the stigma, a couple of days in a crowded cell are enough to scar a grown man for life!
Who know what happens in those cells when the lights go out?
 
It would be ironic if she's raped in jail. Don't think it will happen though - the sentencing is too light when it comes to these matters.

Well I guess her dad won't be paying for her legal fees then.

Don't all teenagers think that of their parents. They all want a free pass.

Correct. Trash like this and all others who cried rape when it was not the case (eg. skanks who got drunk and feel guilty the nex morning) should be treated NO differently than rapists.

It's a scary thought that. Women have that sort of power over men now. It could take months of you rotting in a jail cell before you're cleared if at all.
