Had the same problem when i went to watch the Barcelona Soccer game at Loftus awhile back.
What i do at wanderers is park at Melrose Arch.
Its cheaper, its a bit of walk but then u dont spend any time in traffic.

Or the Illovo shopping centre, max R30, if you watching a T20 you can get away with R15.

Exactly what I do too...and that's at a push, sometimes i get away with R10... Also helps being a big guy, most think twice before harassing you. At the SA/Aus test at the Wanderers the car guard didn't even approach me cause I looked at him skeef
