My Samsung S4 mini won't connect to the mobile internet, I put it on and it does nothing. No connection at all

Calls are fine. And it connects fine to Wifi.

Have restarted it twice (completely once - pulled out battery and everything) :(

Any ideas how to fix?

I am on Vodacom, and it's on contract.

Edit / NOTE: Was fine yesterday, but today nothing. Something also appears to be super draining the battery (10% goes in half an hour) which is not normal. No strange things in running apps section :(

It's most likely due to the network issues we're having down here, been like this since yesterday. The reason why you phone is drawing more is because it's trying to connect constantly, disable the mobile data and wait it out.

Cape Town - Durbanville, Parow areas. In the last week I every now and again get the message - No Signal or No Provider. I restart my Galaxy S5 and then it works again. Is this similar to the problem the people in Durban are experiencing?

Been getting the same problem in Bellville this week on mtn
