I hope Woolworths removes or stops paying royalties to the Muslim Judicial Council on products that they certify.
This tax is paid by all consumers even if they disagree with Islam.
that's somewhat unfair to regular muslim families that want nothing to do with bds etc.
a couple of weeks back i was at my local woolies & i bumped into a muslim woman from down the road.
we started chatting about security issues in the street we live - during the conversation i joked with her & asked "shouldn't you be boycotting woolies ?"
she just laughed saying that she does not need some idiots try dictate where she should & should not buy food for her family.
i do however agree that the population in general should not have to subsidise the religious certification of any product, that cost should be borne by the groups insisting on the certification via direct payment to the certifying authority.
