Woolworths Credit Card

My max is always 3.89% and I achieve all the goals each month, but it never says I can get more than 3.89%.

I’m just about done with the Woolworths credit card.

Hopefully from next month, which will be the next quarter.

This is what was explained to me. I'm also stuck on 3.89%. The goals are easy so I'm not going to complain; it's slightly more than I'd normally earn.

1 change in my goals for this month: Some other funny thing has gone and now ACLI (Automatic Credit Limit Increase) is in. I was already opted in.

Others I have are:

-Pay my account
-Shop 5 times anywhere
-Spend R1000 at WW Food in store

Easy enough.

Now, what will they have planned for us in October when the next quarter of % goals are set?!

Spend R2000 on clothing.
Spend R4000 on cosmetics.
Get pet insurance.
Take out a loan.
Such BS.

ooof.

Just Opt in for ACLI
Shop 5 times
Pay your account
Shop for 5000

also easy enough

You'll be stuck on your 3.5-4% this way forever. If you want more, they'll add more as per my post above OR they'll add those to do the basic 3.5% and above. You'll soon need pet insurance for 3.8% and then they'll add, debit order for pet insurance, or such BS.

This is WW and they are as slippery as heck.

Is this for real? I can’t believe it.

No it's not for real., yet But I presume that to get beyond the 4% to 10%, given the other guy has to BUY balance protection insurance, it's not a far stretch for an assumption.

The basics are:

Opt in for annual credit limit increases
Spend R5000
Buy 5 times
Pay by debit order

and now buy balance protection insurance.

That gets you to 4%.

But they claim that up to 10% cashback is possible.
