Woolworths has a big problem

WW has long been too expensive in all it's departments in general. Yes they have the odd good priced items but in general not.

Stop crying WW and adjust your rip-off pricing and you'll do better.

It's Made in China like everything else. They just stick a Tom Jones tag on and mark it higher
Made in China doesn't mean it's bad quality, there are different grades.

My issue with WW clothing is that it just went quite downhill in quality while price stayed the same/up, had two shirts that lasted around 6 years (~2013), bought another same cut and around same price adjusted for inflation (~2016), that one lasted just over a year.

Here in Western Europe I spend a lot more on clothing though, since buying stuff that just both looks better and is better quality, the cheaper stuff here is basically WW quality and the cheapest clothing quality that South Africa has doesn't really exist (basically only online via Amazon/Shein/Temu/Zalando).

I find buying that cheap doesn't look that great plus you swap it so often that you end up paying more, when I'd rather pay double that lasts three times as long and looks good throughout.

And just where do you think the Vietnamese get the clothing from?
They have clothing factory things where little Vietnamese people work to make them? I always thought their clothing is of very high quality. Can't remember where i had learnt it from though.

But they not expensive if you compare the quality. Checkers is not bad, but i'de by no means rate their meat as Woolworths quality.
Also WW have those awesome pre-cut wors sausages that you don't need to cut yourself and start a massive towering inferno of burning fat in your face...

Lemme guess. That's what you heard/saw on the internet?

Wait till end of season that will sell for R800.

Woolworths also like to take their nice colour clothing and rebrand them Trenery. Iv bought a few pairs in odd colour chinos only to find that colour next year sold as a Trenery brand for alot more

The advantage of physical stores is that you can buy something now without waiting for 3 weeks and stuffing around with customs payments but our stores seem to be missing this angle because they don't have variety or interesting styles.

Woolworths ranges are so limited and boring you can often tell that someone is wearing their clothing, often because you own exactly the same shirts, etc.
