Yes he thinks he is a they. So there is no logical consistency and you cannot expect any.
If he has the correct view on one thing that one correct view is still correct even though it is logically inconsistent. It is a good thing, there's no need to get him to be logically consistent and have more bad views.

The + is anything and everything. Even though you might not approve of pedos there is a significant amount of the LGBTQ political activist that wants to include pedos or "maps" or these guys want to include themselves into the LGBTQ+ "community"Is + = pedo?
It is great to say you don't agree with that, but it is dishonest to say it doesn't exist.

So chromosomal abnormalities/mutations are the new normal I guess - Sorry to break it to you, but there is nothing normal about a guy thinking they're a girl and vice versa. They are unfortunately a product of bad encoding (if they legitimately have the condition and not just doing it for the shits).
If you wish to argue you can take it up with some geneticists.
