Cis man!

Forcing adult issues and concerns down the throats of children in schools goes a long way to fomenting hostility; which of course one can play the perpetual victim to afterwards and act all surprised and shocked. Same old story.

People aren't all stupid and yet there are those out there who think that others are and that they don't notice their shenanigans.
Is Woolworths targeting children with the ad campaign? And is being gay an adult issue?

I wasn't quite going to go as far as equating LGBT to religious indoctrination but hey yeah sure why not.
Here is the funny thing.... he seems not to realize how he constantly proves the points of the people he seems to only pretend to argue against.

I was only highlighting the indoctrination part. Why do you think Father Christmas and the Easter Bunny look so cute?

I actually genuinely believe them to be harmful lies and don't support them in the slightest.

They're genuinely the only fun part of the holidays and because kids look forward to them. These are gateways to church services for children that get older.

Wrong way around, they are early lies that destroy the faith of children in the values of their parents.

"If they lied to me about this what else did they lie to me about? guess god does not really exist either."

You yourself have used this logic here in the implied comparisons you are pretending you did not do.

Who said it is?
That's a completely different issue.

Santa & easter bunny should stay. Of late, kids are becoming inquisitive and parents can't help it. If kids realize santa & bunny are not real earlier, that paves way to question everything else.

I am of the view that bible, quran, geeta, old testament should be openly available for distribution. I will distribute "Dan Barker — 'The God of the Old Testament" at my own expense if that is allowed.

Isaac Asimov — 'Properly read, the Bible is the most potent force for atheism ever conceived.'

God is just one more fairytale like the Easter Bunny and Father Christmas, one that many people don't outgrow.

Imagine if somebody on the forum blathered on about Zeus or Odin or Ra on a daily basis.
