Woot

Hmm got some info about this, tech at blizzard say they are trying to get the digital upgrade up on the day of release. Also they will have a seperate download for ppl with 3.0.3 to get wotlk and not have to get the full client as they did with BC. Just hope its ready on the 13th

That would be awesome! Since I will only get the key on the release date. If I want to play sooner I will have to copy the DVD from someone.

Yeah if you take a loot a the TBC download page on www.worldofwarcraft.com there are two options, getting the full client and smaller one which just has the content need from latest patch to TBC. They are doing the same with wotlk, just hopefully on the 13th. Even so it will be 2gb + and that means no wow until at least the 14-15th. with my slow ass line.

Some digging around... They will do the same for WOTLK and provide a download link for it, BUT only a week or two after the release...

Wrath will eventually be available for download online, but this might take some time to establish. A working DVD drive will be the only way to ensure you are ready to play on launch day. Otherwise, when we initiated the online download for Burning Crusade it took 2-3 weeks to get up and running. I'm not saying Wrath will take this long (I have no idea, it may) but don't expect it Day 1.
