Hey guys,

some time ago I updated my blog to version 3.0 of WordPress. After the upgrade my blog is just displaying a blank page. I have renamed the plugins folder, deleted my current theme. No luck. Any ideas on how to fix it? I have no idea what could be wrong.

Thanks

Not even my admin area works. No restoration option available for me. Didn't backup before upgrading-> Never do that!

That's quite strange. I upgraded mine this week to 3.0 with no problems at all..

I would say restore your old blog, then try find out why the upgrade didn't work.

Guess I could just get all the important stuff from phpmyadmin. Still going to take me a lot of time getting everything back to normal. Oh well...

I use SVN to keep my blog updated and I did switch to the new branch and it broke my blog. I had a full backup so I just restored it and I then did the manual update and it worked. After that I then did a svn switch and updated and it all worked fine.

Seems the upgrade from 2.9.2 -> 3 is a bit flakie

Always back up your DB.
