If you've got backups, just fry it and start again. If you don't, well, lesson learnt.

WordPress has one big no-no and that is a pirated plugin due it containing malicious code in most cases. Always make sure that you have secured hosting services, especially come to shared hosting and to have your WordPress and plugins updated at all times. DBs needs to be secured at all times. Abide by the basic security principles, which applies to any website and CMS, and invest in a well-maintained security plugin. All-In-One WP Security & Firewall is only as good as the person who is maintaining the website.

Like GhostSixFour said, backups.

Get the WordFence plugin, it'll assist you finding infections and edited files.

But as stated, regular backups are a must.
