I'm sitting next to a canal watching cars go by while having a babalas beer.

I must have spotted around 10 cars/bakkies drive by towing either a caravan or a boat and I asked myself WTF is going on?

Then it hit me, a lot of companies must have shut down for the year yesterday.

I still have to slug it out untill the 22nd as I don't have enough leave left.

I wanted to take a pic of those birds.

As to why am I sittinf here, I'm sure you've seen the thread I made earlier this year about me being legally banned from consuming alcohol in my house. I am not taking any more chances!

You joke but the last few months have been so ridiculously busy with people wanting to get projects off the ground again that I'll go crazy without a December break this year. Closing end next week, back on the 10th'ish.

Then there's people like me who were prevented from taking leave and now I am losing 1.6 days a month because the company doesn't allow leave to carry over.

I haven't booked yet, which was ****ing stupid and I'm too broke to book now. I should have done so last month.

So I will book on the morning of the 21st hoping that I can get something on the 22nd, else it's going to have to be Intercape.
