Working and reliable gtalk client

What are you guys using?

I've tried:
IM+
Nimbuzz
Gchat

They're all awful, and notifications are slow, if they even arrive
IM+ seems about the best
I just need something to use as a replacement while waiting for Whatsapp to arrive

Try OctroTalk with Voip. Been using that for quite some time.
