Working for different cultures / genders

Everyone has their own take on this - and without insulting certain cultures or genders, are there any specific that don't gel well or you personally wouldn't work with?
 
I'm okay with almost everyone at work except this one woman who's loud and obnoxious.

Edit: Oh you mean work for them. :o Well I work well under my manager who happens to female and white.

Edit 2: Just walked past and yes, she's definitely white and female.

Women who cry when **** doesn't go their way, or they did something wrong, etc. - imagine a bunch of guys balling their eye's out each time they screwed up.

So it is women, specifically, who cry that bothers you, men who cry are ok?

The question was about working with different genders, a guy would be the same gender.

But in 14 years I've yet to see a guy cry at work after getting shat out, or told their work isn't up to standard, and this unfortunately happens often.

I've had 2 woman this year out of 4 on the team cry, 0 out of 16 guys. If a guy did cry, it would probably piss me off even more, I find it incredibly unprofessional, if you can't handle it, get another job where they allow mediocre.

Yip. The kind who only employs young sweet girls to satisfy her mostly male client base but suspects everyone of trying to steal her husband...

No it wasn't. It was just a question on whether specific cultures or genders don't gel with you, not necessarily different genders.

Personally, men tend to irritate me more than women. Especially the macho, alpha-male wannabe who thinks that shouting louder makes him more comprehensible and threatening you is a way to force you to do as he wants you to.
 
I hate working with people in general so you can imagine the horror in working for someone.
 
I prefer to work with women but work for men. I've had one female boss who I enjoyed working under/for but I think that was mostly because she was so crazy good at her job. Culturally? No real feelings either way. The Dutch are very straight forward, to the point of seeming rude at times. It was an adjustment initially but now I really enjoy it. What you see is what you get usually!

One of us misinterpreted it and after reading the OP I think it was you :p

different means not the same but the op didn't say different to you. If you worked for both a man and a woman then it makes sense to ask what it was like working for different genders.
