If one comes into the country without a valid working certificate, but volunteers at no cost on the payroll for experience - no issue with that, right?

I don't know the answer, but I'd imagine HA would have a problem with it.

Yeah, I've dealt with them a lot as a foreigner and they are full of shyte with red tape and paperwork. I'd be very surprised if they would allow even voluntary work.

You need a Volunteer Visitor Visa.

Is that if you want to volunteer at ANY company ie admin etc? Or specifically NGOs?

Just walk across the Limpopo the rest of Africa is doing it
