does anyone know where i can workshop or service manuals for most VW. Im looking specifically at the manuals the worshop at the dealership get. anyone know a site i can get these without having to pay for them

im looking specifically for a VW polo 2005 onwards. im planning on being able to repair my car and service it myself without going to a dealership.

something similar to a haynes manual but im sure there must be a manuals which the workshop at the dealers get. would love to see the information there.

Haynes manual is a good start. Not much on the web on the newer cars unfortunately.
Service should be quite straight forward.
Oil / oil filter / plugs / air filter. Service every 10000km. Make sure you always use the same oil. (I use Shell HX5 on the golf)
Get one of those blue plastic oil catcher to capture all the oil. Makes it easier and less messy.
Oh, and wash the engine before and after you service it.

Just Google how to reset the service interval light on the dash. (think there was a thread about this recently)
