Workshop manuals - where to buy?

The fake leather around the gear stick has lost all it's "skin" at the top section, but looks good around handbrake.

I've only had the car a short while, and haven't seen the need to replace the O2 sensor yet - I haven't done an accurate fuel consumption check yet, but it doesn't appear to be very heavy on fuel.
With the engine running too cool (thermostat stuck wide open) won't help the fuel economy.

I'm surprised by at the number of technical people I know that suggest throwing out the thermostat.
 
Don't throw out the thermostat! When it comes to Opels you do not want to mess around with the cooling system, cause when it goes wrong someday its going to be big...

There is this cool Vauxhall parts shop on ebay that sells genuine leather replacements for those nasty fake leather bits that looses its skin. Also got a cool silver center console for the car on ebay, its a genuine GM part ;)

Your's looks very neat.

Where you have the silver section, this Corsa also has the silver, but includes the factory radio.

I'd like that eBay store details, but will order while I'm abroad (UK or elsewhere).
 
I have another package that left the UK on 30 Dec 2011 - I called the SAPO on 0860 111 502 and they gave me the SA tracking number (WTF isn't this automated an available on the web?), and the tracking results show the package arrived in JNB on 4 Jan 2012 - why so slow , just third world and bear with it ?

Edit: Just been to the local post office again, with the tracking detail that I had (SA tracking number) and again they told me it's not there, and then after a search, they found it, and the only explanation (mumbling) was that it's "registered mail" and not a package, and that some how created confusion.

This one didn't need any customs payments :)

I have a few parcels waiting at Cape Mail - customs are super slow at the moment, I guess because of the holiday backlog :(

Thermostat installed, and for the first time since we've had the car the temp gauge is sitting around the middle (90 degC) mark - fluctuates between 88 and 92.

When I do get around to doing the next timing belt change, I think I'll remove the original thermostat and use only the one in the radiator hose.
 
The leader thing is a common problem had them on all mu opels and even seen them on some i build up, they are cheap to replace gw sells them for i think 150 bucks, as for the other oke with the gearbox problems it may be linkages u have to set up again, or its the selector boks dont buy haynes manuals they are the biggest bunch of
