Poor old England - that group doesn't look good for them.
Argentina and Nigeria get an easy ride into knockout stages.

I'm hopeful of Japan sneaking by in their group. I love their style of play and always root for those underdogs - no pun

They would be right. D is the group of death. 3 former winners in that group and England are a better team than Ghana

USA is better than Costa Rica. Group of death all 4 teams are competitive not just 3. If that was the case then group B would be the group of death. Spain, Holland and Chile who finished 2nd in the South American qualifiers after Argentina.
